There seems to be a massive divide between the US and European media. Watching a press conference with Tommy Franks I was amazed at the difference in the questions asked by the US media as compared to the rest of the journalists in attendance. The US journos seem to have completely accepted their administration’s explanation for what they’re doing while their European counterparts adopted a much more inquisative approach. No wonder the world’s opinion is so divided… The US only seems to be getting half the story.
